Rotary Cambridge was well represented at the Citizenship Ceremony at Perry lakes on Australia Day.
Rotarians Peter and Leonie Pearse, Cate Barlow and Jeremy and Jeanette Wood were present at the Town of Cambridge Citizenship Ceremony held at Perry Lakes on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January 2020.. There were 56 new citizens who took the oath. Also in attendance were MLAs Alannah McTiernan, Sean L'Estrange, mayor Kerry Shannon and Councillors Kate McKerrachar (Deputy Mayor), Cate Barlow, Rod Bradley and Alaine Haddon-Casey all as seen in the photograph below together with Ms Denise Gordon from the Department of Home Affairs. The Master of Ceremonies was John Giorgi, the town's CEO. Welcome to Country was performed by Phil Walleystack. Jeremy Wood was the Guest Speaker on behalf of Rotary and all other Volunteer Organisations.
