Changeover Night! Our Club got together at the Seaview Restaurant at Ocean Gardens for the annual hand-over formalities, and apart from many wives, husbands and partners, we were joined by three visiting Rotarians – Bill Boekeman, Mike Collett, and John Holman. Most of our Members were able to attend, but unfortunately Frank Nathan couldn’t due to illness – although Eileen did come along.Max Puddey said his farewell as outgoing President and presented incoming President Don Holywell with the chain of office. Don then gave his address and was congratulated by all for taking on this role.
We enjoyed a tasty three course meal together with soft drinks and red and white wine, and there was much chatter and fun as the evening progressed. Eventually the party broke up at about 10.00 pm, and all went home – tired but happy!
