Newly inducted members shared their lives and careers to date with other club members
Libby Larsen, Mark Hemery and David James gave potted pen pictures of their lives and careers.
Libby has two children and now has two grandchildren as well. After the child rearing phase, she became involved in community work where she has been very active ever since. Libby took up golf and plays regularly at the Seaview and Karrinyup Golf Clubs.
Mark is very much a local lad and was educated at Floreat Park Primary School and at Hale. His family, both in his youth and as a married man, has been and is of paramount importance. Fate has dictated that he would land up with a number of half and step siblings. He and his wife Helen now have four children. He practices law.
David James is also a local lad - born at SJOG Subiaco - educated at Perth Modern and qualified as a pharmacist at a young age. He travelled extensively and worked overseas. It was in England that he met his wife Judy. They have two daughters and have lived in the same house in Wembley Downs since 1968.
Welcome all three to the Rotary Club of Cambridge.
