Jasmin (Jaz) Hernando, our Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Argentina, Told Cambridge Club members about her time in Australia.
We experienced a real treat at the Club meeting on 26 June when the Club's Rotary Youth Exchange Student Jaz Hernando told us about her year in Australia. Jaz spoke with maturity, sincerity and a lot of humour and captured the hearts of all present (if she hadn't already done so!). She spent the first six months of her year with the Northam Club and then moved to Perth to join Cambridge. In April when half way through her time with Cambridge, she went on the North West Safari with all the other RYE Students and saw places that most of us haven't had the privilege of visiting. Similarly over this second half year she has had a hectic and wonderful time and has built up relationships with many families some of which hosted her. Clearly Jaz will leave Australia with regret but she also excited about reuniting with her own family in Cordoba once again and staring on the next phase of her life.
