Items that were discussed at to-day’s Club Forum included the following: • Possible future joint project with Surabaya Club to be explored by the Surabaya Party. • Administration matters – discussion produced nothing of note other than a possible new Square terminal linked directly to the internet • Suggestion that the role of the Rotary Foundation as well as club projects should be aired at meetings when we have a significant attendance by outsiders. • Possibility of Rotary Club participation in the Shed’s Open Day was endorsed. Sale of plants and cakes was discussed. President Max will arrange with the Shed committee. • Proposed to invite the responsible minister to attend RWADE in November. Peter Wagner will write a letter of invitation. • Proposed to arrange a project to link older people with the Art Classes at City Beach Primary School through Sue Girak. This would be part of an inter-generational education programme. • Transportation of surplus shed equipment from the metro area to regional sheds especially in the Pilbara region. This was left for further discussion.
