We had a very pleasant night out at a local Thai restaurant this time, and there were 31 people in our party. The banquet was fit for kings and queens, and we all enjoyed a variety of flavours and aromas. The camaraderie was excellent, and it was hard for people to get a word in edgeways! During the course of the evening President Frank announced that our Club has won the Town of Cambridge Community Service Organisation of the Year Award, and he showed us the framed certificate that we have received. The citation says ‘This award celebrates the Rotary Club's ongoing commitment to community service, their impactful projects, and their continuous efforts to improve the lives of those in our community’. Well done all round!
