Our Exchange student, Suzanne, who is returning home this week gave a presentation and told us a little about herself.
Her family have a farm in the north of France and she travels to Calais each day to school a round trip of 12 hours.
She loves horse riding, skiing & surfing. Whilst here in Perth she has attended Churchlands Senior High School.
She has enjoyed fishing, paddling, surfing & basketball. One of the best things she likes about Australia are our sunsets and Australian Rules football (She did let slip that she was going to put as many Tim Tams into her bag to take home as she can)
Suzanne was thrilled when Churchlands High School held a morning tea for her this week to farewell her.
She hopes to study medicine when she returns to France and finishes her secondary education.
Don Holywell, as Suzanne’s mentor, presented her with a Sherrin Football and a boomerang, Jeremy Wood presented Wilco & Jordy Veerman, who were Suzanne’s host family here in Australia, with flowers and a bottle of wine and finally President Frank presented a Cambridge Rotary Club banner for Suzanne to take back to the Ardres Audruicq- Guines Rotary Club
