We started off 2022 with a Social get-together on Wednesday evening at the Cambridge Bowling Club, and a great time was had by all! In spite of the Covid-19 requirements just over forty people attended, including a handful of Guests, eighteen Partners and nineteen Members. We adopted a new format this time to take the place of the usual BBQ – we had a Spice Box mobile facility which provided a range of Indian delicacies such as Butter Chicken and Rice, Lamb Curry and Rice, Samosas with Chtani and Garlic Naan. The first mentioned proved to be very popular indeed! The only downside was that Sam and Suchi couldn’t possibly serve everyone in a short time, but they handled the situation cheerfully and well. As usual the Bowling Club bar was open for business, and we all had the opportunity to enjoy an informal time chatting amongst ourselves. A lovely night out!
